yet another day of memories...
yet another day of memories...
yet another day of memories...
yet another day of memories...
yet another day of memories...
I cry;
I talk to my only fwen if she is free;
I blast my music through earphones;
And I brood.. alot.
Which makes things worse,
Cos many a times,
It's the things I brood about that makes me unhappy.
I dislike the sense of helplessness,
Of interdependency,
That my emotions and feelings swing
because of people & issues that affect me.
But then again,"To love at all is to be vulnerable.
Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken.
If you want to make sure of keeping it intact,
you must give your heart to no one,
not even to an animal.
Wrap it carefully around with hobbies and little luxuries . . .
lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness.
But in that casket
-- safe, dark, motionless, airless--
it will change.
It will not be broken;
it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable
The only place outside heaven
where you can be perfectly safe
from all the dangers of love is hell."
So to love, I must hurt.
How ironical.. but oh well..
So then..
the music keeps blasting,
The volume keeps increasing..
And oh yes, what I do when I am unhappy..
All happens together.

by how much time we are willing to invest in them.
The more time you give to something,
the more you reveal its importance and value to you.
If you want to know a person's priorities,
just look at how they use their time.
Time is your most precious gift
because you only have a set amount of it.
You can make more money,
but you can't make more time.
When you give someone your time,
you are giving them a portion of your life
that you'll never get back.
Your time is your life.
That is why the greatest gift you can give someone
is your time.
It is not enough just to say
relationships are important;
we must prove it by investing time in them.
Words alone are wortheless.
Relationships take time and effort,
and the best way to spell love is T-I-M-E.
The essence of love is not
what we think or do or provide for others,
but how much we give of ourselves.
The most desired gift of love is not
diamonds or roses or chocolate.
It is focused attention.
Love concentrates so intently on another
that you forget yourself at that moment.
Attention says,"I value you enough
to give you my most precious asset - my time."
Whenever you give your time,
you are making a sacrifice,
and sacrifice is the essence of love.
Love means giving up - yielding my preferences,
comfort, goals, security, money or time
for the benefit of someone else.
and so, I will give my time.
From "The Purpose-Driven Life" taken off Penny's blog.
In contemplation, I do admit
That I don't give the people I love most
The majority of my attention and time.
Often I spend time pursuing things
like studies and earning money.
At the expense of loved ones and friends.
And now I resolve to spend
More quiet time, me-time, L-time
And only fwen-time..
More perhaps not in quantity,
But quality too.

Praying with faith,
Yet allowing him to do His will,
I am thankful that He has rewarded me.
Thank You Father!

I literally spent each and every day
Either writing reports or catching up with my studies.
Thankfully my Lakeside kid decided to take a break
After we crammed through the last 2 weeks for her exams,
So I had a lil break from there too.
Still it was not enough.
The way I see myself going
There was no doubt I couldnt last the next 7 weeks
I was prepared to literally drop to pieces
If i did not do a time-out.
I felt the burn-out so acute.
I knew I had to have a flight response..
I cried & yearned for it..
And so I did..
Am going away tomorrow for my time-out
One day break out of a technically one week break..
Irony, but I am thankful.
May it recharge me for a longer path ahead!

Dreams
To be out and open
Independence
To be totally Christ-like
I believe that:
Courage is not an absence of fear
but the willingness to face up to the circumstances in spite of the fear.
